i have a 1982 300cd and when i turn the key off, the wipers come for a second. If I disconnect the fan unit above the radio, then the wipers only come on normally. wtf?
If i leave the unit plug in and push some buttons for the fan, the wipers come on. I took the cover below the steering off and the instrumenetal panel out and didnt see any extra mickey mouse wiring.

I hope you have upgraded to copper fuses,and cleaned all contacts.I've heard it can do weird things.
