It's probably a visual illusion. I've seen it in soda bottle test batches if the glycerine is really dark and the fuel isn't . Maybe try looking at it in a different light, it may look different.

I've seen that in soda bottle samples quite a bit- it's a visual illusion. It really doesn't seem like it at first but move it into different light and you might see what I'm talking about.
